A Metropolitan PC, Daniel Coffill, who had just finished his police probationary period, was leaving a Bromley night club when two youths asked him for a light for a cannabis joint.

The two thugs responsible, teenagers Daniel-Lance Samuels and Jack Turner, were sentenced to 8 and 9 years respectively for GBH, and told they would also serve 4 years on licence when they were released, so they could be sent back to jail if they re-offended.

That sentence alone was an insult to a ruined life, but when it was appealed the "protect a thug" mentality of our obscenely useless judicial system kicked in at full strength, the sentences were called "unduly excessive" and cut to 6 and 7 years - which means they could be out in just 3 years - AND they would NOT be on licence - in other words free and clear for ruining a man's life !

THEY walk free in 3 years - and Daniel Coffill and his parents - who will now have to care for him for life - receive the TRUE life sentence !

No wonder so many thugs simply laugh at both the law and the pathetic victim-hating judges who bend over backwards to show their "touchy-feely" credentials for any piece of scum who come up before them !

They couldn't care less for victims - victims like PC Coffill who cannot talk, breathes through a hole in his throat and is fed through a tube in his stomach - or victims like his mother Margaret, now 50, who has had to give up her job as an office manager and convert the sitting room of her Maidstone home into a bedroom for her injured son.

Mrs Justice Linda Dobbs, who allowed the appeals, said: "We're mindful of the devastating impact this incident has had, both on the victim and on his family."

But not mindful enough to refuse the appeal or give a damn about the fact that when they support the scum who did this to Daniel Coffill they themselves are WORSE than that scum !
