PETER WOODHAMS - THE BETRAYAL!

Two years ago we told how the Metropolitan Police allowed a gang of thugs to target and then murder Peter Woodhams.

In May last year, two police sergeants and a detective sergeant received written warnings, a detective constable received words of advice for their failings in the investigation and three other officers were cleared of wrongdoing but received "guidance".

Following up complaints from Mr Woodham's family both Detective Sergeant Darren Case and Detective Constable Adam Suett were forced to resign after an investigation found serious flaws in the way the Met handled the case.

A subsequent misconduct hearing found the pair guilty of gross neglect of duty but now, after the detectives successfully appealed against their expulsion from the police force, a senior Metropolitan Assistant Commissioner has ruled the punishments were too severe and the officers have been reinstated!

Jane Bowman, Peter's fiancee, said: "I am livid. I think it is disgusting. I blame them for Peter's death as much as his killer. I hold them responsible one hundred per cent.If they had done their jobs in the first place it would not have happened"!

His father, also called Peter, said the decision to reinstate the officers was unbelievable; "We are very disappointed. We thought all along they would be sacked for this.

"It is what they deserved. This is an insult. To be docked just 13 days pay over my son's death makes his life seem worthless."

But as we have seen time and time again as far as the police farce we have nowadays are concerned only the guilty matter - they have no time for the innocent people they have betrayed or the grief and anger their families feel at further betrayals.

More and more the police farce is becoming as complacent, arrogant and corrupt as the government which controls it as the corruption and evil of New Labour spreads like a poison through every aspect of our lives.

And this totally indefensible decision by the Metropolitan Police just shows how far that corruption and evil have spread! (Peter Woodhams)
