ARMED ROBBERS IN OPEN JAILS!

Labour ministers are in total panic now the full consequences of their failed policies over the last decade have become glaringly obvious even to themselves! (Full story here)

With only 480 places left across the entire prison system, they have ordered that armed robbers and sex offenders are to be moved to open prisons with minimum security!

This is a last ditch attempt to somehow find a solution to a problem of their own making before they are forced to release thousands of prisoners early!

Hundreds of armed robbers and sex offenders will spend the last two months of their sentences in open prisons where they will be free to escape any time they like - after all, more than 8000 prisoners have escaped from open prisons in the last ten years !

Already thousands of criminals are allowed to walk free from court because of the prison crisis, shoplifters and thieves are no longer prosecuted, even murder has been downgraded to manslaughter, and now more and more criminals will be set free because of the insanity of New labour's policies!

Where now is Tony Blair's promise to be "tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime"? - abandoned, like every other promise New Labour ever made!

Tony Blair was warned years ago that more prisons were needed but nothing was done, and on Friday the prison population reached a record 80,977 - just 481 short of total capacity!

There was almost 12,000 foreign prisoners whom the EU has refused to allow to be sent back home - the legacy of Labour's open door immigration policy - with thousands more criminals already flooding here!

That alone is enough to totally overwhelm the prison system in this country and leave every person at the mercy of vicious thugs, sex offenders, and highly dangerous criminals.

But none is as dangerous as the incompetent and lying ministers who have consistently refused to face facts, who have lied for decades about escalating crime figures, who have downgraded one crime after another to hide the true extent of their failures, and will now set free thousands of dangerous prisoners !
