£200 "COMPO" FOR CONVICTS !

Prisoners get compensation!

The panic-stricken shambles which is New Labour's answer to the prison overcrowding crisis turned into total lunacy when it was revealed that prisoners released early will get almost £200 to "compensate" them!

Unbelievably these payments are to pay for the "bed and board" they would have had if they had been kept in prison! (Full story here)

All of the 25,500 convicts being released early will get the "compo" money, at a cost to the taxpayer of £4.5million!

So in Labour's insane "justice" system not only is the public now at increased risk from these convicts but they now have to pay through the nose for Labour's latest debacle!

And that is not the end of it because the government will ALSO pay their rent for the 18 days they would have been inside!

So not only will the government NOT save a penny by releasing these convicts early, which up until a few days ago they were denying would ever happen, but they have guaranteed it will actually COST THEM MORE than if they had kept them inside!

And it now turns out that this policy will stay in place INDEFINITELY, because thanks to New Labour's "soft on crime" mentality, more and more criminals are being sent to jail, so, because of their own failures on building new prisons, increasing numbers of prisoners will be released earlier and earlier and will therefore qualify for more and more handouts!

Not only that but, because of the overcrowding crisis, sentences will get shorter and shorter, with more crimes being turned into non-crimes by a government which has totally abandoned this country to the rule of the thug and the murderer!

Every day this government descends more and more into a state of total lunacy but this latest insanity is beyond all belief - even the lunatics of an insane asylum could not have come up with this mind boggling descent into utter madness!

And all this chaos and waste could have been avoided if New Labour and Tony Blair had kept just one simple promise - to be "Tough on crime, and tough on the causes of crime" - now YOU will be forced to pay through the nose for THEIR lies, deceit, corruption and failures!
