MURDERER RAPIST PROTECTED!

The Parole Board, which featured yesterday in a possible change to its name to the "Resolution Service" has shown yet again why the public view it with absolute contempt by claiming that, because of the Data Protection Act, it cannot release details of how Stephen Ayre, a murderer on parole, kidnapped and brutally raped a ten year old boy! Stephen Ayre, who was jailed for life in 1985 for battering his girlfriend, Irene Hudson, to death, had been released on parole just a few months before the attack on the boy.

The Parole Board had referred the case to its Review Committee to see what lessons could be learned but claimed that details of the review could not be revealed because of the Data Protection Act!

Of course the obvious lesson that "life" should actually MEAN life is not one which these government paid morons will ever mention, especially since our prisons are already overflowing precisely due to cases like this and the culture of ever increasing softness on all forms of crime, even murder, which results in even more crimes being committed and an even greater need for more prisons which Lord Falconer has already said will never be built!

In April 2006, at Leeds Crown Court, Ayre was again sentenced to life imprisonment after admitting two rapes, abduction and a sexual offence!

At that time probation chiefs said they had launched a review into the case and had passed the details to the Home Office and promised to "act swiftly" to implement any recommendations from the review.

Today the Parole Board said it deeply regretted the circumstances that led to the rape of the boy, adding: "We are committed to doing everything we can to learn the lessons from such cases that will help to prevent further such incidents."

But they have made these promises on every occasion when they have released someone on parole who then goes on to rape or murder another innocent victim!

And when they use the Data Protection Act to keep details about these cases from coming out it is obvious that the only protection they are concerned with is protecting their own jobs!
