Although Tracy Brooks made a string of false rape claims, leading to the arrest of five different men and wasting massive amounts of police time, she has walked free from court!

She was arrested after she made two complaints to police within a month last summer.

As a result of a complaint she made on July 31,a man was arrested and was made to give DNA samples while Brooks underwent examination by doctor and a video was made of her describing her fake ordeal to detectives.

Just a month later on August 30 she made another complaint, saying a different friend had raped her at her home.

Again, the man Brooks accused was arrested and had to give samples while she went through another examination and made another video.

It was weeks later, on September 27, she was arrested and the allegations against the men were formally withdrawn.

The court heard how Brooks has made three similar allegations in the past, for which she was never prosecuted.

In 2001 and 2002 Tracy Brooks made complaints against two former boyfriends, accusing them both of rape.

Then in 2004 she told police she had been raped by a friend's boyfriend.

The judge told her: "I am sure the two men who were the victims of your false complaints would expect you should receive an immediate sentence of imprisonment.

"But I take the view it would be counter-productive in the light of the more stable life you have had recently if I were to do that."

The judge said the general rule is those who make false allegations of rape face being locked up immediately.

He told Tracy Brooks: "You have escaped custody by a hair's breadth."

So another criminal walks free from court!

And what would have happened if the two men had gone to prison?

Their lives would have been ruined on the word of someone who had already been proven to be a liar and who had already got off similar charges three times!

So why were these men even charged if the police knew about her past record of lying?

And why was Tracy Brooks not prosecuted on those three past occasions?

Because under New Labour innocent men are charged on the words of proven liars, and criminals walk free from court!
