Prison Funding cut by £240m!

Despite facing a huge crisis in prison overcrowding, Gordon Brown has ordered the Home Office to cut £240 MILLION POUNDS from the prison budget over the next three years!

A "deal" between Charles Clarke, the previous Home Secretary, and Gordon Brown means that the Home Office budget will be frozen next year!

This means that the Prison Service will have to find savings of £80million a year for the next three years!

So, at a time of ever escalating crime, with John Reid powerless to stop thousands of foreign criminals flooding into this country, with prisons already so overcrowded that dangerous prisoners are now being set free by the courts, this government has effectively made sure that no criminals will be jailed for the next three years!

This is not just incompetence, it is criminal incompetence on a scale so vast that the perpetrators should be jailed for crimes against the decent honest people of this country!

It means that no further prisons will be built, even though this lunatic government is intent on criminalising more and more citizens, that the courts will be ordered to set free even more criminals, that prison staff, already dangerously low, will be cut even further, that a system already in total meltdown now faces a final total catastrophic failure!

And the losers will be every decent person in this country who believed in Tony Blair's useless and discredited promise to be "tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime"!

But the winners will be every criminal who will use it as a golden opportunity to indulge in the criminality which has become endemic in British society, thanks to a government corrupt and rotten to the very core!

A government and ministers who care nothing about the terrible danger their policies have created for everyone in this country!
