Kensington police have warned a jeweller, targeted by a woman thief, that showing other retailers her CCTV picture could infringe her (the thief's) human rights !

Shops in Kensington, London, selling high quality goods, have been targeted by the thief - shown in the CCTV picture (so sue me then !)

Isabel Kurtenbach is a well known designer of quality dresses and jewellery, with a shop in Kensington.

She had £2,000 of gold and silver rings, necklaces and earrings stolen when the thief distracted an assistant.

The woman, who regularly targets shops in the Kensington area, is well spoken and dressed, and claims to be a rich Saudi Arabian, who owns lots of properties.

She asks to see jewellery or other items then steals them while the assistant is distracted, and leaves claiming she has to get her credit card from her car.

The nearby Manguette Jewellery store had items worth £3,000 stolen four years ago by the same woman.

And a clothes shop recently had £1,000 of cashmere jumpers stolen.

Other traders are so sick of being targeted they asked Ms Kurtenbach to give them a picture of her that can be put up in their shops to warn staff.

But the police, ever anxious to help a criminal, have told them that putting up warning pictures of the woman would infringe HER human rights !

Naturally, THEIR rights don't count !

But why should they count, especially when the government recently issued orders to the police to totally disregard 67 "minor" offences such as shoplifting !

No wonder all crimes in Britain are totally out of control when the government dismisses them as "minor"and the only concern of the police is protecting the guilty !
