Graham Hall murdered Jane Brown Chare in 1997 when he was 18, stabbing her 51 times after he broke into her bungalow in Egremont, Cumbria, and sexually assaulting the 75 year old widow as she lay dying!

At his trial, Graham Hall, who a detective described as "an evil and scheming individual" pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility but the jury took only 20 minutes to find him guilty of murder. (Graham Hall)

Now, using the Human Rights Act so beloved of NuLab and their lawyers, this "evil and scheming individual", who was quite willing to destroy the most basic Human Right of all - the right to life - is claiming £50,000 for a breach of HIS "Human Rights" after the sanitation in his cell broke down and he had to "slop out"!

This is just the latest in a long series of compensation demands by prisoners claiming that their Human Rights have, in some way or another, been "violated"!

Muslim prisoners are claiming millions of pounds because they were offered Ham sandwiches on a prison menu - More than 50 inmates, including murderers and rapists, are claiming millions of pounds in damages because of delays to their parole hearings - An illegal failed Somali immigrant, who raped a 13 year old was awarded £50,000 for "illegal detention" - 200 drug addicts shared £700,000 beacuse they were refused drugs in jail - and on and on!

Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Herbert said the compensation claim "should be dismissed out of hand."

"The suggestion that a blocked loo violates anyone's rights, let alone a prisoner's, ....demonstrates once again that human rights laws have gone too far."

"If legal aid really is being used to fund this claim it would add insult to injury and be an outrageous abuse of taxpayers funds."

A Ministry of Justice source said: "His case is a test case, and if successful, it will allow 40 other prisoners to make similar claims.

But even if it fails, which is unlikely, the Human Rights Act is now being used by those in society who have knowingly and deliberately violated the Human Rights of decent honest people and are being rewarded for those very violations!
