Believe it or not, New Scotland Yard has ordered its officers not to use the term "yobs" in any reports on the fight against - yobs !

The term is "alienating" !

At least according to Cindy Butts, Deputy Chairman of the Metropolitan Police Authority !

She wrote to Ian Blair, Chief of the Metropolitan Police complaining about a report which said that the force was "proactively tackling gangs and yobs across London."

You would have thought that such a report would have been welcomed by everyone, since many yobs now think of themselves as "untouchable" !

But not by Cindy Butts !

She said "I have a problem with the language of 'yobs'. It sort of sets up and defines too much a 'self' and 'other.'"

So, in the ludicrous language of Butts-Speak what she is actually saying is that there is no difference between a yob and his victim !

But there is a vast difference between a yob and his victim !

The difference between life and death !

Ask the family of Peter Woodhams if there is a difference between him and the yobs who killed him !

Or the family of Stevens Nyembo-Ya-Muteba, knifed to death after an argument with yobs !

Yet in an act of unconscionable cowardice, Scotland Yard Assistant Commissioner Tim Godwin said: "I agree. (with Cindy Butts) I'm sorry about that. We won't use that term again."

GUTLESS - SPINELESS - USELESS !

No wonder yobs feel themselves to be "untouchable" when the very people who are supposed to be protecting the innocent deliberately side with the criminals !
