Although residents of a street in Llandrindod Wells, Powys, in Wales, complained to the police and council for months about youths causing anti-social behaviour, nothing was done.

Until Diane Bond, a 64 year old pensioner had her arm broken by the yobs.

Then they sprang into action - and arrested HER !

And, as has become the norm, they did nothing about the yobs who had broken her arm !

She, and other residents in the street had put up with months of anti-social behaviour, including verbal abuse, intimidation, damage to property and cars, noise, and rubbish being thrown into their gardens.

Up to thirty youths aged between 11 and 17 were involved.

On the day the yobs broke her arm Diane had been out walking her dogs.

She was confronted by the yobs who verbally abused her, and blocked her path.

One of the ringleaders, called Billy, taunted her, flexing his muscles, saying "go on, hit me if you dare".

She then prodded him playfully in his stomach, whereupeon he deliberately pushed her to the ground, breaking her arm !

But that was only the start of her ordeal, because a few hours later, as she was recovering at home, the police arrested HER for assaulting the yob who had broken her arm !

Diane Bond is just over 5 feet tall and frail - her attacker was 6 inches taller and heavy built !

But of course, persecuting a frail pensioner is a lot easier than actually dealing with yobs who for months had been allowed to indulge in criminal activity with impunity !
