BLINDED - THEN ARRESTED!

Paul Hamp - blinded by yobs !

Paul Hamp, a 45 year old mechanic was attacked on his own doorstep and blinded in his left eye by THIRTY drunken yobs.

But as usual these days, it was Paul who was arrested by police after one of the yobs claimed he had SPAT at them !

Fortunately when Paul appeared in court the case was thrown out.

But now the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, has told him he won't receive a penny in compensation !

Unbelievably it claimed his conduct in defending himself "contributed to the attack" !!!

Paul said "I've never felt so let down. My treatment sends a powerful message to victims everywhere - if you are being attacked never do anything to defend yourself" !

"You must just lie there and take it "!

The CICB said: "We do not discuss individual cases but an applicant's conduct prior to an attack can disqualify them from a claim."

So that is what the British Justice system has come to !

A gutless spineless police farce who daren't tackle yobs but will always support them by arresting their victims !

And a CICB who will use any excuse for refusing to compensate the victims of ciminal injuries !

So much for Tony Blair's promise to be "tough on crime" !

The only people the government and the police are tough on now are the defenceless victims of crime !

People like Paul Hamp, or Diane Bond, or Donna Appleyard, or Samantha Nicholson.

But these people are only the tip of the iceberg - every day innocent people are suffering at the hands of ever increasing criminality, and the moment they try to defend themselves they are punished !
