She suffered weeks of torment from a gang of youngsters who threw bottles at her windows, played loud music at night in her front garden and threatened to burgle her.

Her wheelie bin was twice set alight, her garden was destroyed, stones and bricks were hurled at her house by the yobs who told her: "You can't touch us" !

The yobs also threatened to burn her house down !

She had contacted the council and the police but, as is usual nowadays, they didn't want to know !

When she finally snapped and slapped three of them, the police acted !

Samantha Nicholson, the victim of the yobs, was arrested, appeared in court and was sentenced to an 18 months community order and a fine of £43 !

Even though the judge said "right-thinking people" would be "appalled" by the torrent of abuse she had suffered !

The yobs, who should have been charged, got off scot free !

It turned out that she was also threatened by the mother of one of the children who told her she would be "sorted out" after the court case !

Samantha Nicholson said she was too scared to go home and she would be staying at a friend's house with her partner and children.

After the hearing the South Yorkshire Police said: "We urge the public not to take the law into their own hands."

WHAT LAW ?

As far as the law and our useless, gutless and spineless police are concerned, yobs can do whatever they want !

And it is their victims, like Samantha Nicholson, who will be punished for daring to stand up to them !
