The most Politically Correct policeman in Britain today, Sir Ian Blair, has come out with his latest loony idea!
The man who said he couldn't understand the fuss about Soham wants children who have committed no crime taken into care to stop them joining gangs !
He spoke out after seven teenagers had been murdered in gang-related violence in London since January, saying that there needed to be a "radical overhaul" in the way society tackled the problem of teenage violence. (Full story here) But, naturally, that "radical overhaul" certainly didn't include the idea that teenage criminals should be punished in any way at all! He said that policing alone would not make a lasting impact on the threat of gang violence - well certainly not when 97% of officers aren't even available to answer 999 calls! "There is a need to think outside the box. While the response of the Metropolitan Police and other forces will be extremely robust around youth violence when it is committed..." Like the kind of "robust response" accorded to Peter Woodhams where the Metropolitan Police did NOTHING when a gang of thugs attempted to murder him, and only investigated when the same gang DID murder him ! Or the kind of "robust response" it gave to Cindy Butts by agreeing yobs should not be called yobs! The rubbish spouted by this monumentally incompetent officer shows the kind of mess "do-gooding" liberal loonies have left the legal system of this country in ! Parents who attempt to discipline their children end up in court - at school, teachers dare not attempt to discipline disruptive pupils or THEY will end up in court - the same pupils can commit crime after crime until finally they MAY end up in court only to walk free with a slap on the wrist - until finally children murder children ! Yes, children are in danger today, but that danger comes from a sytem which says that all punishment is "abuse" and refuses to abandon that totally discredited position, no matter how many innocent children lie dead on the streets !
