KEVIN DAVIES

Less than a month ago I wrote "it is certain that more people like Steven Hoskin will suffer and die in helpless terror until the law decides that the scum who commit these crimes will pay in full!"

Kevin Davies was burned with a hot knife, force fed potato peelings, and subjected to daily beatings with a thick wooden stick, and over four months was slowly starved, yet when he finally died of an epileptic fit, his murderers were not even charged with manslaughter, only with "false imprisonment and assault"!

In December 2004, Baroness Warnock, the Labour spokeswoman on ethics(!) declared that the sick and the elderly have a "duty" to kill themselves so as not to be a burden on society!

Today that evil tenet of the Nazi regime is spreading like a sick disease through our society because not only is the law NOT protecting people like Kevin Davies, the punishments handed out to their murderers prove that disabled people in every form are regarded as of less and less importance and their deaths of less and less concern to the whole legal system! Kevin Davies was an epileptic man who was friends with David Lehane, one of the the three people responsible for his murder, along with his girlfriend Amanda Baggus and a friend of theirs, Scott Andrews.

Amanda Baggus wanted Kevin punished because she blamed him for crashing her car in May last year, so he was locked in a shed at their home and she and David Lehane started cashing his benefit cheques to pay for the damage.

Imprisonment soon escalated into daily beatings by David Lehane, Amanda Baggus and Scott Andrews, beatings so severe that the ceilings, walls and furniture of their home were covered in his blood, and it was only when his torturers called an ambulance after he collapsed unconscious that the abuse ended - too late for Kevin Davies because he died at the scene.

Only then did the reality of the last four months of Kevin Davies' life come to light - including a video in which Kevin Davies was forced to praise his captors even as they were beating and starving him to death!

So another defenceless man has died - who is next?
