Tortured Girl (Face Hidden)

A gang of yobs who tortured a 12-year-old girl were set free - because magistrates claimed they were powerless to jail them!

The thugs, aged between 11 and 15, laughed as they kicked the girl, set off fireworks near her legs and ripped off her underwear during an hour long ordeal - even recording it on mobile phones.

One of the yobs, even though he was just 11-years-old, already had previous convictions for robbery and racially aggravated public order offences. (Torturers go free)

But the gang escaped jail because the JPs said they were bound by guidelines issued by politicans over sentencing juveniles!

Instead the thugs, which included two girls, were given supervision or referral orders which means they will be monitored by the probation service and youth workers.

They will each have to pay the girl £150 compensation, but what are the chances of them ever paying it, especially since they got off the actual assaults ?

The victim's family last night said it was "disgusting" that the thugs did not get custodial sentences - "Nothing can compensate my daughter for what they did to her."

The girl's grandmother added: "They are evil for what they put her through...her face was such a mess when she came home but they don't care, they're not bothered now, they are laughing their heads off because they have got away with it."

And how long will it be before they go on to commit even more serious offences having seen the total uselessness of the justice system under New Labour and having learned that you can commit a crime and you will get away with it?

Every day now murderers, criminals, rapists and worse come to court and the story is always depressingly familiar; a long history of ever increasing criminal activity often starting even before their teens and getting away with it until they finally end up in court and in jail!

Such as an eleven year old boy who has already got convictions for robbery and assault but still walked away laughing because the government allowed him to get away with another serious assault!
