Wayne Robb

Wayne Robb, a former drug addict, launched an unprovoked attack on Andrew Tiley who just happened to walk past him as Robb was having a drunken row with his girlfriend outside his home.
CCTV cameras showed Wayne Robb hurling bricks at Andrew Tiley before kicking him in the head. Robb left his victim lying unconscious on the road but police and ambulance, alerted by CCTV operators from Exeter City Council, got to him before he could be run over. (

At Exeter Crown Court, where Wayne Robb was jailed for two and a half years, it was revealed that he once starred in a Government anti-drugs video after beating his own addiction. Since then he had moved from his home in London to Exeter to start a new life and was working as a youth worker while taking a media studies degree at Plymouth University.
The savage attack left Andrew Tiley unconscious while Robb, urged by his girlfriend, returned home. CCTV operators from Exeter City Council alerted police. Robb was jailed by Judge Paul Darlow, who told him: "The video clearly shows a vicious attack which began with a brick being thrown hard and accurately at the victim who was hit on the head."
Mr Nigel Wraith, defending, said Robb had been drinking heavily at a party at his home to mark the end of exams before the incident. He said: "He was clearly shaken when he saw the CCTV and is deeply ashamed.
"He is a former crack cocaine addict who managed to rid himself of that habit and made an anti-drugs film which is shown in schools." Unfortunately cases like Wayne Robb's are becoming more and more common as people, who never learnt self control and had too many excuses made for them, beat up innocent people for no reason who just happen to walk by!
And, although Robb claimed to have been drunk, he wasn't too drunk to have thrown a brick "hard and accurately" at the head of Andrew Tiley! DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT - JOIN NAVIGOR TODAY !
